Good position. The hotel is a bit old but still comfortable. Good value for the price.

Good place. Location ok. Room feels a bit old
The location is okay -- about 15 min walk from the Hiroshima station and 20 min walk from the peace museum. The staff was kind. They didn't speak English but they still tried to help me find a money exchange desk (pro tip: exchange money in the train station when you arrive if you need to -- the other places are low key shady but work too). Another Hiroshima tip -- definitely visit the Miyajima shrine on Itsukushima Island. I was doubting whether to visit but I ended up going and it was a great spot.
The staff didn't speak English at all. However this was not a big problem as they used Google translate to communicate. The furniture in the room felt quite old, and I think the AC filters must definitely get cleaned soon because there was a lot of dust in them -- it definitely started annoying my throat.

Great bang for the buck if you need a quick place to crash
Staff was very friendly! Enjoyed the basic amenities and the bathroom in general was clean and up kept nicely.
